If your doctor is not able to order the lab tests required for monitoring your progress as soon as NuSpecies needs them, you can purchase a test directly from a lab provider without your doctor's order.
Although we don't recommend or work with any specific lab, we can link you to two major providers that have lab locations across the country as an example of where and how tests can be obtained on your own. Feel free to shop around if there are other lab providers you know of or prefer.
Quest: Quest Tests
LabCorp: LabCorp Tests
The procedure is the same for each of these providers:
1. You pay for the test on their website and you'll receive an order confirmation number.
2. Use the order confirmation number to go to one of their locations and get your test done or schedule an appointment ahead of time on their website at the test center of your choice.
3. They'll send you the results, usually through their online portal.
Without a physicians order your insurance won't cover the costs of the tests, but depending on the test you need the costs might be as low as $29-$69.

Should I wait until I get all my labs and test results back before I get started or before I replenish my package?
No, you never want to wait. Your body needs help now and there’s always a starter option that can be taken right away. We’ll build on it later when we have more medical information. It’s also up to you and your budget. If you’re never going to have labs or medical records because you don’t have insurance, then we work with what you know: your own observations, concerns, and symptoms.
If you really want to wait for any reason and you’re supposed to be taking your ideal protocol, don’t stop using the formulas completely. Take a maintenance protocol in the meantime.
