Motivation

Farquharson has written that the development of both NuSpecies and SDAE was deeply influenced by the illnesses experienced within his own family.

His father died following prostate cancer, while his mother experienced long-term complications associated with diabetes. Witnessing the progression of chronic illness led him to investigate broader patterns of biological interconnectedness and the relationships among metabolism, stress, nutrition, resilience, and human health.

These experiences ultimately inspired both the establishment of NuSpecies and the writing of the Singularity Dual-Aspect Emergence series.

Philosophy

Education

Farquharson was born in Jamaica and later immigrated to the United States.

As a teenager he served in the Jamaica Constabulary Force at Mobile Reserve.

He attended Long Island University before earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Syracuse University College of Law.
