Raw Myrrh Gum Extract

Myrrh gum extract comes from the resin of Commiphora myrrha (and related Commiphora species), small thorny trees native to the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

When the bark is cut, the tree exudes a sticky sap that hardens into reddish-brown resin.

Traditionally it's one of the oldest documented medicinal substances, going back to ancient Egyptian, Ayurvedic, and Traditional Chinese Medicine use.

It's most commonly associated with:

Supporting a healthy immune system.

Oral and topical use — myrrh has long been used in mouthwashes, gargles, and gum treatments for its astringent properties, and applied to minor skin wounds or irritations.

Digestive support — used traditionally as a bitter to support digestion.

Why Raw?

NuSpecies uses a unique manufacturing technique called "cold processing" to protect the heat sensitive components of plants like vitamins and enzymes. This ensures the plant can support your body in the way it is meant to.

Why Liquid?

• Liquid is the ideal delivery method to get the best results from a dietary supplement.
• The vegetable glycerin keeps the enzymes in our raw ingredients alive.
• Liquid is easier for children and those with weaker digestive systems to absorb
