- When you're in pain
- When you have a stomach ache
- When you're mad, sad, anxious, frustrated, cranky, and any other uncomfortable emotion.
- In childbirth
- While eating for improved digestion
- And so much more. Since you're supposed to be breathing all the time, I guess this is the one thing we can truly say helps with everything!
Don't Forget to Breathe

Having a tense moment?
Close your eyes.
Breathe in through your nose for 10 seconds, puffing out your belly (not your chest).
Hold it for a moment.
Now exhale as slowly and controlled as you can.
Repeat until you feel calm.
Water used to be free, not so much anymore. But oxygen still is. So breathe it in! Take as much as you'd like.
It was only when I was preparing for childbirth that I realized how little I was using this most powerful and free resource AND how effective it is. Using the breathing technique above, you can achieve many health benefits and seriously improve your quality of life. Some instances when this breathing technique can be helpful:
