Dr. Nosworthy Explains the Top 4 Breast Cancer Risk Factors, What You Can Do, and How NuSpecies Can Help

On October 20th 2022, Dr. Nosworthy appeared on The NuSpecian Live to discuss breast cancer risk factors and NuSpecies' role in mitigating them.

Below you can read a few of the points she made and you can watch the full episode here.

Breast Cancer Risk Factors:

  1. Genetics

The top risk factor for breast cancer is genetics. If you have a family history of breast cancer, whether it be your mother, your aunt, your cousin, and even if you're a male, you have an increased risk of breast cancer.

Mammograms are generally recommended on a yearly basis to women starting at age 40. However, if you have a relative who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35, for example, you should talk to your doctor about starting your breast cancer screenings 5-10 years prior to their diagnosis age so if you develop breast cancer too, it can be found as early as possible.

  1. Lifestyle: Smoking, Drinking, & Sugar Intake

Smoking and drinking increases toxicity in the body. Essentially, smoking and drinking contributes to almost every medical problem you can think of and it's one of the contributing factors to breast cancer. Avoiding or decreasing smoking and drinking is something within our control that we can do to stay healthy.

Smoking and drinking contribute to low oxygen levels in the body. When you go back to the basic energy cycle of cancer cells, cancer thrives in areas that have low oxygen levels and high sugar levels.

Before going to medical school I worked as Aston's Executive Assistant for a few years, and I used to hear him talking about sugar and oxygenating the blood. I used to think, "What is he talking about?"

After going to medical school and actually studying the cycle of cancer cells, everything he was saying years ago is 100% factual. Cancer cells like anaerobic environments, meaning no oxygen.

Why NuSpecies is so valuable is that not only do we have so many formulas that help to lower the inflammation in the body, which is another aspect in which cancer thrives, we have formulas that help to clean out the body, to help lower sugar levels in the body, but most importantly to help oxygenate the blood and increase blood flow and circulation. Oxygen literally burns cancer cells.

  1. Estrogen Exposure

The more times you've been exposed to estrogen over the course of your lifetime, the higher your risk of developing breast cancer.

How do you have increased risk of estrogen exposure? For one, early menses. If you were 10 years old when you started your menstrual cycle, compared to someone who was 13 starting their menstrual cycle, your risk of breast cancer is higher than the person who started their menses at 13. Every month your estrogen level spikes before the egg releases, exposing your cells to increased estrogen hormones.

Late menopause is another risk factor. Some people are happy about late menopause because they're not going through menopausal symptoms yet. But the more times in your lifetime that you go through your menstrual cycle, the more instances that estrogen level spikes. As you get older, this is repeatedly exposing the cells in your body and your breast tissue to estrogen every month over and over again.

Another aspect of estrogen exposure is if you've had children. While you're pregnant, you're not having your menstrual cycle for 9 months. That is nine less times your body is being exposed to high estrogen levels. So, if you have not had children, your risk of developing breast cancer due to estrogen exposure may be higher than someone who has had children.

When it comes to hormones, a benefit of NuSpecies is that the Queen Nanny formula helps the body to regulate and normalize hormone levels.

  1. Previous Cancer and Radiation

Let's say you've had lung cancer and you had radiation in your chest area. Prior exposure to radiation, especially in the chest, can increase your risk of breast cancer in that area. So if you had lung cancer and you've had radiation, the surrounding tissues have been exposed to radiation and some form of free radicals. That increases the risk of mutations in normal healthy tissue.

If you have cancer, your doctor will talk to you about the risks and the benefits of all interventions. If you've been exposed to radiation from some prior cancer, that increases your risk of new cancer, unfortunately. It's one of the risk factors, though not as high as those previously mentioned.

Supporting your body with NuSpecies' vitamins, minerals and nutritional formulas that are made with high quality, potent, whole food plant ingredients can give your body the tools it needs to rebuild after cancer treatment.

Can’t the screening technology expose a person to radiation that can cause breast cancer?
