Think. And Repeat

We've all had many health goals over the years. We start off motivated and last about two weeks before we go back to our old habits. It's likely we've failed over and over because we didn't meditate.
As soon as you read the word "meditate", you may be visualizing the stereotypical imagery of a yogi sitting cross legged with their hands out in front of them, saying "oooooommm" with bamboo and lotus flowers all around.
Meditation is simply an intentional thought that you give a period of focused attention to. You repeat this process every day until your actions start to follow your thoughts. For example, you've been intending to take your NuSpecies formulas in the afternoon, but your day always flies by and everyday before you fall asleep, you realize you forgot. Here's how meditation will help.
Get in a relaxed position so nothing distracts you from your meditation. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Think about your goal. "I will take NuSpecies every afternoon." Now imagine the time of day you intend to do it. What are you doing at that time everyday or at least what are you doing at that time today? See yourself. Where is your NuSpecies? In your pocket? Your pocketbook? Your lunch bag? See it. See the circumstances surrounding your intended time. Maybe you've just taken the last bite of your lunch. You want to remember to take your 4 Vitamin D capsules before you finish your water bottle. See yourself remember that you want to take them. Visualize yourself taking them out of your bag and taking them with the last of your water, throw away the trash from your lunch and get back in your car.
Now repeat your visualization every morning or night or whenever you can commit to the 1-5 minutes daily. You'll be shocked about how soon your actions follow your thoughts. May even be the same day!
You can do this with any goal you've been meaning to stick to and at any stage.

What is the ReNu Challenge?
Many of us spend years of our lives living with an all-or-nothing mentality, especially when it comes to taking care of our health and our bodies. NuSpecies ReNu Challenge is a monthly reminder from Jillian, NuSpecies Co-Founder, that everyday is a new opportunity to make a better choice for your health. Every meal is a new opportunity! Just because you ate a bacon, egg and cheese for breakfast, doesn’t mean you can’t have a salad for lunch. Life isn’t black and white and living it on the all-or-nothing roller coaster isn’t sustainable.
Each day during the week of Jillian’s ReNu Challenge, you’ll be challenged to take one simple action that serves your body and your health, no matter what else you did that day, allowing you to rebuild your health or change your lifestyle one step at a time.
