Eat Fruit Today
Today is a new opportunity to make a better choice for your health. Eat Fruit. Today is about adding some fruit to your day or making fruit one of your meals, like a smoothie. Ideally, a large portion of our diet would include living fruit and vegetables, but this isn’t a change most of us can jump right into. It takes time to adjust our taste buds from the overstimulation of processed sugars to the natural whole food sugar in nature’s candy. It takes time to test out fruit you may not have tried before or haven’t tasted in years. It takes time to figure out the most convenient and affordable ways to add more fruit to your diet. Today’s challenge is just about seeking out fruit and eating it. Maybe it’s an apple at the checkout of your local cafe, which you previously ignored or that banana at the gas station where you pick up your morning coffee, or the pre-cut fruit in the containers in the fridge at your lunch spot.
