It's official: Our Brooklyn store is closed permanently
1. Here's what you need to know
If you shopped in our Brooklyn store then you know that for the last several years we've had to close the store for months at a time while hiring and training new staff.
We've never found a long term solution for keeping the store open consistently. So, after 10 years we've decided to close the store.
2. What does this mean for you right now?
- For those of you that we have in our system as being Brooklyn customers, we'll provide you free shipping through the end of 2024 (if you choose to order online). You can either place your order over the phone with our team or let us know after you've placed the order and we'll refund the shipping to you.
- You're welcome to shop in our Elmont store. It's about 20 minutes from Canarsie: 241-01 Linden Blvd, Elmont NY 11003. It recently got a makeover. Check it out!
3. What do we need from you?
We haven't given up on Brooklyn!
We're actively pursuing opportunities to ensure our Brooklyn clients are well taken care of and we would love your feedback!
If you find yourself thinking, "Why didn't NuSpecies just do this...?", don't keep it to yourself!

I’m sorry the Brooklyn location had to close because I lived nearby, however maybe you would consider a door-to-door delivery option for your Brooklyn clients via a distributor who works only for NuSpecies.
